Marin to Tahoe Mini Longboard

$8,810.00

This 7-foot surfboard is a study in place, weight, and movement.

Painted using charcoal, sandstone, and pyrite gathered from Lake Tahoe and Marin, the surface carries the mineral memory of two landscapes shaped by water, pressure, and time. The charcoal brings depth and shadow, the sandstone warmth and sediment, and the pyrite subtle flashes of light; like glints on water at dusk.

The board was shaped by Mike Wallace of Iconoclast in Half Moon Bay, CA - grounding the piece further in the Northern California coastline where land and ocean continuously meet. Together, the materials and form create a functional object that is also an artifact; one that carries the energy of mountain, shore, and sea.
