Welcome to The Field Notes Society

is a personal publication by Jessyjo Darling.

Part journal, part geological record, part poetry, each volume follows the threads that connect land, memory, history and emotion. Through collected pigments, field observations, stories and reflection, Jessyjo invites readers into a deeper relationship with place.

Meet the artist

Jessyjo Darling

Jessyjo Darling is an artist and storyteller of place whose work is created using pigments gathered from the landscapes she explores.

Through field research, material collection, painting, and writing, she documents the geology, history, and spirit of place. Field Notes was created as an extension of this practice—a space to share the journeys, observations, gathered materials, and stories that exist behind each body of work.

Each volume serves as a record of a place explored, a landscape observed, and a moment in time preserved.
