'Denmark 2' - Limited Edition Print
from $328.00

DENMARK, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

An archival limited-edition print of the original painting Denmark 2, created with materials gathered from Denmark, Western Australia.

THE MATERIAL

I gathered yellow loam, orange coffee rock, charcoal and rainwater from the surrounding landscape. The earth and charcoal were crushed and ground into pigments in my studio, then combined with the rainwater and worked directly into the original canvas. Their natural variations created the ochre yellows, warm oranges, smoky blacks and organic textures within the work.

THE STORY OF PLACE

Denmark 2 holds the colors, textures and elemental character of this coastal landscape; not simply depicting Denmark, but carrying its earth, charcoal and rainwater within the original surface.

FROM ORIGINAL TO PRINT

This archival giclée edition faithfully reproduces the original painting’s color, gesture and texture. Printed with archival inks on fine-art paper or canvas, it preserves the visual story of the gathered materials but does not contain the raw pigments themselves.

PRINT DETAILS

Limited edition of 50 across all sizes and materials.
Signed, numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Frame not included.

'RY X' - Limited Edition Print
from $298.00

SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA

An archival limited-edition print of an original painting created in collaboration with Australian musician RY X, using materials gathered from the Southern California landscape he calls home.

THE MATERIAL

I gathered sandstone from Santa Barbara, California where RY X lives, charcoal from Topanga Canyon following the Palisades Fire, and warm beige sandstone from the Malibu coastline. Back in my studio, these materials were crushed and ground into pigments, then worked directly into the original canvas with ocean water; allowing the landscape itself to determine the palette.

THE STORY OF PLACE

RY X’s music carries a deep reverence for nature, spirit and the emotional language of place. Creating this work was an intuitive process of translating the atmosphere and expansiveness of his sound into earth, water, gesture and form.

This collaboration is the first in my music series: original paintings created for the artists whose music accompanies and inspires my studio practice.

FROM ORIGINAL TO PRINT

This archival giclée edition faithfully reproduces the original painting’s color, gesture and textural detail. Printed with archival inks on fine-art paper or canvas, it preserves the visual story of the gathered materials but does not contain the raw pigments themselves.

'West to West' - Limited Edition Print
from $358.00

AUSTRALIA SOUTH WEST + THE AMERICAN WEST

An archival limited-edition print of the original painting West to West, created with materials gathered across Western Australia, California and Nevada.

THE MATERIAL

I gathered sandstone from Esperance, Western Australia, sandstone from the Sierra Nevada mountains, charcoal from Lake Tahoe and onyx. The materials were crushed and ground into pigments in my studio, then worked directly into the original canvas. Their natural variations created the rust reds, warm mineral tones, smoky blacks and layered textures within the work.

THE STORY OF PLACE

West to West connects the landscape of my Australian home with the American West I now call home. Materials gathered across both places meet within the original surface; forming a physical conversation between belonging, memory and two distant western landscapes.
