This 6’0 surfboard was hand-shaped in Southern California and painted with earth pigments gathered from Topanga, Malibu, Santa Barbara and San Diego.
Both sculptural object and functional form, Lis Fish explores the relationship between land and ocean ;transforming materials gathered from the California landscape into an object intrinsically connected to its coastal culture.
