An archival limited-edition print of the original commissioned painting Bloom 3, created with mussel shells gathered from the California coast and atlantisite from Tasmania, Australia.
I gathered and processed the mussel shells and atlantisite by hand, crushing and grinding them into pigments before working them directly into the original canvas. Their natural variations created the soft shell tones, mineral greens and organic textures within Bloom 3.
Created as part of my Blooming series, Bloom 3 is my interpretation of what begins to grow after fire. Materials from California and Tasmania meet within the original surface, transforming elements from two distant landscapes into an expression of regeneration and renewal.
This archival giclée edition faithfully reproduces the original painting’s color, gesture and texture. Printed with archival inks on fine-art paper or canvas, it preserves the visual story of the gathered materials but does not contain the raw pigments themselves.
Limited edition of 50 across all sizes and materials.
Signed, numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
Frame not included.
Printed to order; please allow up to four weeks.
