An archival limited-edition print of the original commissioned painting Holly, created with materials gathered from Lake Tahoe and Glenbrook, Nevada.
I gathered charcoal and water from Lake Tahoe, alongside granite and black sand from Glenbrook. The charcoal, granite and sand were processed into pigments in my studio, then combined with the lake water and worked directly into the original canvas. Their natural variations created the smoky blacks, stone greys and layered mineral textures within the work.
Originally created as a private commission, Holly brings together earth and water from the Tahoe landscape; not simply depicting the region, but carrying its physical materials within the original surface.
This archival giclée edition faithfully reproduces the original painting’s color, gesture and texture. Printed with archival inks on fine-art paper or canvas, it preserves the visual story of the gathered materials but does not contain the raw pigments themselves.
Limited edition of 50 across all sizes and materials.
Signed, numbered and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
